Biographical sketch
Retired from years of teaching. I continue to research and present on coastal restoration. Teaching SCUBA and other sciences got me very involved in coastal restoration. A member of the Port Authority Board was another great moment when I decided Reef Ball looked right to place in an offshore reef. That started my many projects of monitor and support for the Reef Ball Foundation.
I have presented at numerous conferences on the Successes of using Reef Balls in ecosystems around the world. , Best Practices: Using Reef Ball on Living Shorelines, and Best Practices using Reef Ball for Oyster Restoration.
Most recently I have added Certification as a WEDG associate from the Waterfront Alliance. WEDG (Waterfront Edge Design Guidelines)
Feel free to contact me with quesions or for ideas on your coastal projects.
