Biographical sketch
I am a postdoc at the University of Mississippi working on an MBRACE-funded project concerned with examining the effects of multiple environmental stressors on early oyster life stages to inform oyster reef restoration efforts. I received my PhD in Biology from Georgia Tech which was focused on the role of predators in structuring communities via top-down controls and how environmental factors affect the strength of these effects. I investigated these questions using invertebrate model organisms found in salt marsh communities, including blue crabs and oysters.
