Biographical sketch
Hi y'all! My name is Mandy and I have been working at the MSU Coastal Research & Extension Center for almost 4 years. My full-time position has been to coordinate the Mississippi Coastal Cleanup Program's cleanup and education events. I am able to integrate my passion for wildlife conservation into my job by connecting marine debris impacts to the environment, cultivating the spark for stewardship. My graduate school journey began 2 years ago and is giving me the opportunity to shift my career towards a focus area I aspire to work in - wildlife conservation! When I'm not planning beach cleanups or researching about bats, I enjoy playing with my giant dogs, weight training, reading thriller/mysteries, and roller-skating! Nice to meet you :)
